Oregon is now doomed to loose thanks to Sports Illustrated. Why couldn't you leave well enough alone.

This is how I imagine a writers meeting at SI goes.

Writer #1 : "So who do you think is good for the NCAA basketball championship this year."
Writer #2 : "Well my money is on Florida"
Writer #1 : "Good thinking..we already know it has to be an east coast team and Duke is a little under the weather."
Writer #3 : "Well of course it has to be an east coast team...could you imagine a wast coast basketball powerhouse?
All : (laughing)
Writer #2 : "No...literally....I actually have money on Florida. $1,000 to be exact"
SI Page : (runs in urgently) This just in guys..Oregon beat Stanford to continue their stay at the top of the PAC-10."
Writer #4 : "Crap...Oregon is starting to look like a legitamate threat."
Writer #1 : "Well...what should we do?"
Writer #3: "The only thing we can do.....(dramatic pause...someone gasps) Write that they're a likely canidate to be the national champions....
Writer #2: "But......but...that would ruin them"
Writer #3: "Exactly!"
All: (Evil laughter)
Writer 5: "Imagine if we put them on the cover."
Writer #4: "Oh man...they'd be fucked"
All: (prolonged evil laughter)
